My parents gave me The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe for my 7th birthday. I read it and liked it, but I found the witch a little frightening, and that kept me from reading the rest of the series. When I took the C.S. Lewis class in college, I read through the entire series because I had read all of the class material and I was still craving more Lewis. I spent hours in my dorm room devouring these little books, and I cried through more of them than I would like to admit. These are the most beautiful stories, and I can’t wait until I can share them with Caleb.
