I Need Africa

Here’s what I’ve noticed:  a year out, you start to lose touch.  We are forever changed, but the impact of the trip is fading.  We’re starting to forget that life here in the U.S. is NOT normal.  It’s time to go back.  Good thing we’re leaving in 18 days.

    WOW. I’ve been trying to articulate that as well as they did for six months. Amazing.

    I’m excited to be going back too and hoping it is only the first of many trips…

    So so right! It’s only been 4 weeks back for us and I’m still trying to figure out all God wants me to learn from this. And yes, I’m ready to go back. God’s blessings on you as you meet your new little dear.
