Leaving on a jet plane!

Just found out that we need to be in Ethiopia in four weeks to bring our little girl home.  Yep, we still got a bit of a wait, but I’m so happy to finally have some dates.  Our agency has a huge back log of families waiting to travel, thus the incredible wait.

The cool part is that we will be meeting Evelyn almost a year to the day that we met Josiah.  We held Josiah for the first time on July 24, 2009, and we’ll be holding Evelyn close on July 23, 2010.  I guess we’re just destined to spend the last part of July in Ethiopia.  Wonder what we’ll be doing next July . . .

    There is no telling where and what you will be doing next July!! God knows and He is excited to see you do it!!

    We can not wait to meet Evelyn! We are sad we won’t be there to greet her when she gets off the plane, but we’ll try to get there as soon as we can!

    We just found out today that we get to travel at that time too. My husband Tim and I are adopting twin girls through Holt. A very exciting day for all of us! Looking forward to meeting you.

    Awesome news and we are so excited for you guys!

    As much as I know you wish you could be there tomorrow, be very happy that your plane tickets will be SO much cheaper. We had 12 days notice and they asked us to arrive on Christmas Eve…mucho dinero. :)
