The Divine Conspiracy
For Christmas, my dad gave me a copy of The Divine Conspiracy by Dallas Willard. He had been telling me about it for months, so I was anxious to read it. I finally finished it last week. I want to recommend it to anyone who is serious about becoming a disciple of Christ. It is such a rich and inspiring read that I will be digesting it for months. It is certainly one of those books that can be read over and over again.
It has given me so much to think about and has encouraged me to examine my life for ways that I have strayed from following Jesus. I want to be sure that I am committing every part of my life to Christ. As Willard states, “I am learning from Jesus to live my life as he would live my life if he were I” (283). Wow! That could take a lifetime.

Also, I’ve been wanting to read this book, everybody I’ve talked to that has read it raves about it. It’ll probably be one of the next books I read.
I love to read and tend to not make time for it nearly as much as I should these days! BUT – this book sounds like it would be well worth the time – thanks for the FYI! Also, I used to get email updated every time ya’ll would update your blog…for some reason I haven’t been getting updates anymore and just realized ya’ll have been posting for a while now. oops! Loved the pics of Alan and Lindsey’s wedding – they make a beautiful couple!! Hope ya’ll are doing good!
