So we’re finally settling in from our recent move over here at the Picker House.  We are feeling very happy and very blessed.   We love our new house; we have lots of room, lots of yard space, and even more toys.  In fact, there’s another thing we have lots of around here:  BOYS. BOY [...]

REFERRAL!!!

Posted by Mary Beth on Tuesday, April 7th, 2009

We are overwhelmed, blessed, and absolutely overjoyed to announce that we have received our referral! Monday evening, I got a call from Holt telling us that they had a baby boy waiting for us. Hi Casey!

I am a regular reader of Becca's site and started coming to yours when she had posted about your mom and dad in the motorcycle accident. I kept them in my prayers after I had read that sad post of what happened and hoped that every update you made would only be more positive. I am so glad to see them all better now, I truly am! God works in good ways :)

I'm glad to see Mary Beth also started a blog. What a beautiful post she made! Caleb is a lucky little baby to have such wonderful parents such as you and her.

Keep it up you two, I always look forward to reading your blog and now I will hers too! Take care! :)

Mary Beth, your contemplations of Caleb’s ancestors past and descendants future, were sweet–and so beautifully written. I have often entertained just such thoughts in my research of our family histories. An elderly lady once said to me, “As you are, I once was–and, as I am, you one day will be.” God’s blessings on your, Casey, Caleb and all your loved ones.
