Well, my dad’s back in the hospital. He has been really sick and unable to keep any fluids or food down, so we finally just decided to take him to the ER last night. He’s currently at North Side hospital and we’ve been visiting with him there today.
The doctor seems to think that he might have some kind of bowel obstruction that is keeping him from being able to keep anything down. He was really dehydrated and weak last night, but he’s feeling so much better today. We’ll know more when he has the CT scan in a little while, so I’ll keep everyone updated.
We’ve just been overwhelmed by all of the cards, flowers, food, and prayers from everyone. Once he gets over this little bump in the “road to recovery” I know he’ll start feeling so much better…

I am a trustee for the Cy-Fair Educational Foundation and that is where I was introduced to Kurt. My husband and I began visiting West Houston and never left.
We are praying for a speedy recovery for both of you. Your grandbabies are beautiful, and I know their little smiles are just the medicine you need.

WOW- Kurt the only deer i like is on my plate . My dinner plate that is, not license plate .My prayer’s are flowing from my mouth to GOD’S ear’s for you and ROXY. May your recovery be quick to bring back your health . This goes to show how we must alway’s be ready to meet the good LORD . If i can do anything for you or your family please feel free to call me . We’re praying for you both at this very moment and know for a fact that these prayers are being duplicated many times over tonight. We are also praying that God will give comfort and rest to Fred and Sybil and Doyle and Betty, as well as the kids. I’ve talked to Brenda and will again in the morning. We love you both dearly.
