I began to pray as soon as I read your first post. Elias prayed with me, too… he got very worried that anyone's mommy and daddy were hurt. My parents are both motorcycle enthusiasts, and this is something I worry about happening to them all the time. I know your father will continue to be in my thoughts… Thank you so much for keeping us updated!

Kurt & Roxie,

We were friends from Harding years ago, but haven’t been able to keep up with each other. I just wanted to let you know that the church here in Bellevue, Washington has been praying for you. We had a special prayer for you in our elder’s meeting yesterday. I appreciate what both of you do for the Lord and you have been an encouragement to my family there in Buford. May God keep healng you and use you for his purposes for many years to come.

Hey guys–I sent a note on the yahoo service. take your time getting to all your correspondence, but I want to get out to see you as soon as you feel up to it. I had the family over (all of them if you can believe it) when I told them about the mishap. You could have heard a pin drop and our ears popped as the air was sucked out of the room.

So glad God still has things for the two of you to do here.

Glad to hear that Kurt and Roxie are both doing ok. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help. I just got the news today of what happened. Please let them know that they are in our prayers and that we are thinking about them. I will keep in contact with Uncle David and Aunt Judy Baker on how things are going with their recover. What a great feeling to read responses written by both of you, Kurt and Roxy. I don’t think I’ve prayed as hard since Karen’s hospital stay 24 years ago. Our God is great and no one is surprised at the outpouring of love and concern for the Picker family. Thanks to Brenda for keeping us updated. Tell Fred and Sybil and Doyle and Betty hello for us and you might want to give Carter and Caleb a kiss(but only if you want to).

Glad to have you and Roxy back. Please do get rest and get better. I am available if you need anything. Look forward to seeing you soon. Let me know when we can visit, but again I don’t want you overwhelmed. Having been through a few surgeries, I know how the recovery goes.

I am overwhelmed at the amazing outpouring of love and prayers for Roxy and me. We are so blessed to have such a wonderful family. My parents are here being the blessing they have always been to me. Cory & Brad have been life savers and Grandma Carol is taking care of Carter so Cory can help out even more. When Carter first saw me he came up and patted me on the foot and I started doing better immediately. Casey, Mary Beth & Caleb have been such an encouragement by phone & this wonderful blog. I can\\\’t wait to see them tomorrow.

I have read every message and I can\\\’t begin to tell everone what an encouagement you are to me. Me spiritual family all over the world is a blessing that I could not survive without. I love you all so much.

This is the longest I have sat up since the accident, but I had to say thank you in some way to all of you. I am typing with one hand and probably need to get back in bed. So…again…God is good and He has proved that in a powerful way through each of you.

Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts.
