The Screwtape Letters on Stage

On Friday night, Mary Beth and I went to see a theatrical rendition of C.S. Lewis’ book: “The Screwtape Letters.” It was a very good performance by a group called Mustard Tree Arts. I had read the book before and after seeing the play I was reminded that not all of my thoughts are my own. The play was very humorous, as well as very serious.

    Even though it is a fictional play, or book, it showed me some very real things. I think it made me more aware of Satan’s power to manipulate, and just how present and involved he is in our lives.

    I wish I could say I was going to be in the area soon. Sadly, I cannot.
