Josiah’s Gotcha Slideshow

I can’t believe we get to do this again. Even though this is our second adoption, it’s still frightening, as I assume it would be the third, fourth, or fifth time. It’s always scary to step out in faith into the unknown. But what we DO know is that God is, has been, and will [...]

Our Family Mission

Posted by Casey on Thursday, July 20th, 2006

Mary Beth and I sat down last night to design our Family Mission Statement together. It took us a while to come up with an idea, but Mary Beth was the one who decided to use verbs to define how we wanted our family to be. We both sat at the computer for a little [...]

Carter’s First Visit

My nephew came to see us this weekend, along with my mom and sister. We had so much fun with them! We would all just sit around while Carter & Boo would play together. It was so cute to see Carter laughing when Boo would jump up and lick his face. There’s really nothing cuter in this world than puppies and babies, but when you put them together it becomes an extravaganza of cuteness! :)

We didn’t really do much besides shopping and hanging out, but it was great to see some family. Anyone else have cute baby pictures out there? Post a comment if you do…

    Hey Casey,
I saw that you added me as a friend on last-fm (audioscrobbler). I looked at your musical taste and…HOLY CRAP! We have the exact same taste. I mean…WOW…exactly the same! And to top the coincidences off I also have a nephew named Carter who is 1 year old. I live in Columbus, GA, so I live pretty far away, but it’s awesome how similar we are. Nice to know that there are people out there like me.

Wow! That’s eerily bizarre! I can understand the similar music tastes because Last.fm will show you who has similar music tastes, but the nephew coincidence is just freaky… :) My nephew also lives in Georgia too… (Cue the “Twilight Zone” theme)
