Well, this weekend was great! My friend, Alan, was driving through town on Saturday, so he stopped in and spent the night with us. We had a great night of eating and hours of ping pong. We also found out that he won coach of the year for the Metropolitan Nashville Public school district. That’s pretty amazing for his first year!

We also got a chance to go up to the cabin and goof off. Billy, Allan and I launched a couple of rockets in our spare time.

All in all, a good weekend. I’m ready for another one already!!

This weekend we had a garage sale. It was a HUGE success! We had people coming from near and far just to peruse through our junk. My wife and I have only been out of college for two years now, so when she suggested that we have a garage sale I was a little skeptical.

“Surely we don’t have enough stuff that we’d be willing to sale…“, I though to myself.

Boy was I wrong! We made over $300 on things that had been taking up space in our attic, closets, and various drawers throughout the house.

Now, what to do with the money… Oh, that’s right, gas still costs a small fortune. Oh well, at least we won’t go broke this summer.

Boo & Bingley Playing Tug-of-War

Sorry there hasn’t been much posting lately. I’ve been busier than usual at work, and I’ve also taken on a couple of extra projects in my spare time.

This weekend we finally did get to relax a little bit. We went up to the cabin and had a good time just hangin’ out watching our dogs go crazy. Our dog, Boo, is just about as crazy as they come. He loves getting to hang out with my mother-in-law’s Cavalier King Charles, Bingley. We got a good laugh out of the two of them playing around this weekend. Their favorite game to play was tug-of-war. They would go and go for hours…

Well, the weekend’s over and Monday calls. I better get back to work…
