Boo & me going on a Walk

This weekend we all decided to take a break and go to the cabin. We had a great time! We spent a lot of time relaxing and watching some college basketball.

My brother-in-law, Billy, decided that he wanted to showcase some of his manliness and chop down a dead tree behind the cabin. So, he proceeded to use his newly purchased axe to chop away. Several hours later, he did it! I was pretty impressed…

I love going up to the cabin. It’s such a blessing to have a quiet place to retreat to when life gets too hectic. Here’s to hoping that we can go back soon!!

Well, yesterday me and some of the guys decided to go out to the shooting range and pop off some rounds. It was great fun…we did some skeet shooting with shotguns and a little target practice with my Father-in-Law’s Winchester 30-30. Now that baby has some kick to it! My shoulder is really sore today from all the shooting.

I probably hadn’t shot a gun in at least two years, so it was good to get outside and demolish some clay targets!
