We are followers of Jesus Christ, striving to love God with all our hearts, all our souls, all our minds, and all our strength. We are on the great adventure of adopting a son from Africa. God has burdened our hearts with Ethiopia, and we are earnestly praying for our sweet little boy and the people of his country.

I have been blessed by God and am living my dream of being a wife and mother. I love my family with all of my heart and am eagerly waiting for the day when I can hold my new baby boy in my arms. I have a BA in English and a MSE in English, both from Harding University. I enjoy good literature and good conversation, and I believe both are even better with an ice-cold Coca-Cola.

I am 4 years old, and I love to play with my momma and daddy and my dog, Boo. My favorite thing to do is sing praises to God; I can remember just about any song I’ve ever heard, and I love to sing loud while pretend-playing the guitar. I also like it when my momma or daddy plays along on the toy drum. My second favorite thing to do is read books, especially Curious George books. I am so excited about my new baby brother coming from Africa, and I can’t wait to meet him so I can teach him to sing, wrestle, and play with cars.

Who am I?
First and foremost I am a Christian. Secondly, I’m a husband and a father. I’m 29 years old.
What do I do for a living?
I am a web developer for BookFool.com by day, and I’m a co-owner of Lamplight Media by night. I enjoy the problem-solving aspect of programming, but I also enjoy the creative aspect of web design. I graduated from Harding University with a BBA in Computer Information Systems.
What do I do for fun?
I enjoy golfing, running, playing guitar, and watching just about any sporting event. Most of all, I love hanging out with my family and laughing together.
Why do I have a blog?
I’ve always wanted to have my own site and having a blog allows me to keep my friends and family updated with our latest news.
